Golden Milk Turmeric Latte Recipe
Histamine-friendly Turmeric Latte
Ingredients:
1 Cup Milk of choice (oat milk, dairy milk, almond milk, or whatever you tolerate best)
½–1 tsp Turmeric
½ tsp Ginger (fresh or ground)
¼ tsp Cinnamon
1–2 tsp Maple syrup or honey, to taste
Tiny pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a small saucepan.
Warm gently over low heat, whisking occasionally. Do not boil.
Once steaming, remove from heat.
Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
Pour into your favorite mug and an extra dash of cinnamon on top. Enjoy!
microwave Version
When the idea of washing a saucepan is simply too much, you can easily adapt this recipe and make it in the microwave.
Add all ingredients to a microwave-safe mug, then heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until warm. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon on top and enjoy!
